Dr. Mikael Dolsten is a physician-scientist and biotechnology leader with more than 35 years at the forefront of biomedical innovation. As CSO and President of Worldwide Research, Development and Medical at Pfizer, he led one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical R&D organizations, contributing to more than 35 drug approvals, including Comirnaty and Paxlovid, and advancing 150+ drug candidates into clinical studies. An author of more than 150 scientific publications and elected member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences, he has advised governments and international organizations on public health and pandemic preparedness. Prior to Pfizer, he held senior leadership roles at Wyeth, Boehringer Ingelheim, AstraZeneca, and Pharmacia.
